Volunteers are the essence of our station - without people voluntarily giving their time there will be no station. To make good radio takes a lot of people with complementary skills. Presenting is one thing, but there are plenty of essential behind-the-scenes jobs to do as well.
It's not all work and no play though. Volunteering is an excellent way to meet new people and build your network. It can also help build skills and experience which may be good for your CV, or just help you in general in your life.
