During Suicide Prevention Week - Men's Mental Health Matters

More Information (Thornbury Radio - Your Choice. Your Voice. is not responsible for external websites)

Join us for this touching and open conversation with author Josiah Hartley, interviewed by Amanda Prowse.

Exploring themes from his book 'The Boy Between' (a World Book Night title and Amazon Edit Best Book of the Year) we explore the lessons learned when Josh went off to University and unravelled, trying to take his own life, before learning to live a great life with depression.

We offer a safe space to ask all the questions we might rather not, and provide advice for those who are struggling with their mental health, or who care for those who are struggling. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents/family/teachers/carers who want to be better equipped to deal with this topic. The biggest cause of death for young men in the UK is still suicide - we need change the narrative and Josh can show us how.

Despite this sometimes dark subject, it will be an uplifting evening full of hope and tops tips of how to find peace in times of desperation.
