On Thursday 30 July, Thornbury Town Council is inviting residents to discover the fascinating world of moths at Mundy Playing Fields as part of Keep Britain Tidy's Love Parks Week.

Between 9.00am and 12.00pm, we're delighted to welcome Charlie from the BS3 Moth Club, who will be sharing some of the remarkable moths that have gathered overnight (weather permitting). Often only glimpsed as they flutter through the darkness, moths come in an incredible range of shapes, colours and patterns, making this a rare opportunity to appreciate their hidden beauty.

Please note that if it rains overnight or on the day, the moth display will unfortunately not be able to take place.

Alongside the moth display, there will be children's moth-themed crafts, litter picking and a nature-themed scavenger hunt for all the family to enjoy.

All activities are free, and there's no need to book – simply drop in anytime between 9.00am and 12.00pm. We look forward to welcoming you to Mundy Playing Fields!
