    January is 'Fairy Tale' month

     

    7th January 2025 - 'No Way into the Woods' which Hans Christian Anderson is seeking new story inspiration. Features Jon Domaille and Alan Jenner.

    14th January 2025 - 'It's Behind You.' Lynne Cartlidge tells of the trials of directing an AmDram Panto.

    21st January 2025 - 'Cinderella After.' Maybe Cinders didn't have such a happy ever after, with Helen Walker-Cornes and Ian Cornes.

    28th January 2025 - 'Members of the Jury.' A wicked pantomime queen stands trial for for her crimes and the listening audience is the jury! Features Jon and Kelly Domaille.

     

    February is ‘Romance. month’

    4th February 2025 –  ‘My Hero’.   Two superheroes find their marriage is on the rocks. Written by Tony Domaille and featuring Ian Cornes and Rachel Howgego, this short play is published by Lazy Bee Scripts and won the Pint Size Plays Script Slam Competition 2022.

    11th February 2025 – ‘First Date’.  Written by Tony Domaille and featuring Jon Domaille and Sarah Cully Morgan. At the beginning of time, a man and woman meet for the first time.

    18th February 2025 – ‘Spice’. Act Your Age Productions’ Nicola Divine features in a comic monologue, written by Tony Domaille, about a marriage in need of some fun.

    25th February 2025 – ‘Tuesday with Marie’. A gentle comedy about romance past, written by Jamie McLeish and featuring Lynne Cartlidge and Chris Holland.

                                             

    Journeyman Theatre Productions (JTP Theatre) was formed in 2014 by Jon, Tony, and Phil Domaille with a view to performing new work at Festivals, One Act competitions, and other events.

    JTP Theatre have become known for their Bite Size plays, performed in hotels, cafes and pubs. They also feature regularly on BBC Radio Bristol. Their original short plays include the award nominated and award-winning Pet Rescue, The Gods, Members of the Jury, A Price to Pay, Time Travel Agent, Apocalypse Then, My Hero, House Hunting and When All Around You.

    JTP Theatre is a multi-award-winning group at the Avon Short Play Festival Competition, having won awards for acting, directing, production and Best Original Script. In 2023, Tony Domaille’s Even Numbers won the UK CDFF Geoffrey Whitworth Trophy and the NDFA Derek Jacobi Award for Playwriting.
